There are tons of guides on keyword research for SEO. Ones that tell you to target long-tail keywords because they "convert better", or chase after low-competition "hidden gems" in Keyword Planner. And no, I'm not here to dispute this. Well, maybe a tiny bit :) More importantly, I'd like to throw some science into the traditional keyword routine, and share a data-backed keyword research framework to make every step of the process meaningful.
